ordered some service parts from eurocarparts for my car, paid for 48 hour delivery by dhlexpress. expected delivery thursday 2/6/2016.

got a message this morning (1st june 2016) at 9.40am saying the package was out for delivery, so i cancel my plans to hang about for it and at that time i'm pleasantly surprised to be getting it earlier than expected (should have known then it was too good to be true...)
5pm comes and goes and no sign so i phone their customer service department, told its definetely out for delivery and i can expect it by 6pm.
6pm comes and goes, i phone back at 6.35pm, to be told by another advisor that its definetely out for delivery, she tries to call the driver to get a time estimate (leaving me on hold for north of 10 minutes), sorry she says, driver not answering the phone (uh oh!!) (prob had went home or to the bar by then) but can she take my phone number and someone will call if there is a problem, oh and the other agent was mistaken, they now deliver up to 8 or 9pm.
6.41pm - tracking event "scheduled for delivery as agreed"
scheduled delivery date shows still as 1/6/2016 by end of day.
9pm comes and goes, no sign and don't you know it...customer service closed at 8pm, and complaints closed at 5.30pm
so needless to say fuming, 12 hours spent hanging around for no reason whatsoever, fridge running low too...
so someone at dhlexpress is getting a mouthful tomorrow about this, couldn't organise a drinking session in a brewery to put it mildly.
to cap it all off...their depot is 65miles+ away.....utterly useless

then they sent me a message asking me to verify my address so i called them. they had the right address all along. remember that they claimed to have put a sticker on my door? how did they do that if they didn't know my address? liars!
i call them again and they tell me they 'might' be able to deliver my package in 2 more days which would make it 6 days late. i told them to stick the package up their butts or to send it back as it was so late that it was of no use to me..
i contacted the vendor i made the purchase from and cancelled the order. they apologized and said they always have issues when they use dhl.

i had a package sent from an ebay seller on the 01/06/2015 today is 01/14/2015 this is bs .i have received 2 packages from phoenix by usps to clarksville tn. and it only took 2 days . this is not...

i had a package sent from an ebay seller on the 01/06/2015 today is 01/14/2015 this is bs .i have received 2 packages from phoenix by usps to clarksville tn. and it only took 2 days . this is not what they advertise and i am ready to delete my ebay account because they use this poor excuse for a delivery service . did i mention that the package is in memphis tn ? i could have walked there and back in the time it has taken them to delivery this package . mind you i emailed them and the reply was some what like i committed a crime . great costumer service (not) so i wish everyone would join me in getting ebay to stop using this complete flop of a delivery service .

i had obtained transcripts from my university (in india) after one month of effort. now we all know transcripts must be in sealed envelops . i had the misfortune of choosing dhl to ship my sealed transcripts to the us. result - dhl opened all transcript covers to check. i this day and age - there are xray machines and such available to scan shipments. why did these morons open up package to check documents is beyond me. stay away from dhl. now my efforts are all wasted. not to mention money and 15 mins of time with customer service. useless/worthless service ..

if you have any doubt of using dhl just type dhl review in google and have fun. all your doubt will dissipate i'm writing this review because i said so to dhl customer service. at contrary to dhl i hold my word...after reading review on the net i doubt that this will make any difference since they are already the worst company and should know this fact by now. anyway here is my story; i bought a printer in australia and paid 90$ for express delivery since i want my package for christmas. package was pick up on dec 11th get to canada on 15th and then a custom agent ask for more information. seems there was a problem with value and they need to contact me. the shipping company had not supplied my phone number on the way bill so dhl call them to get it and company has supplies it on 18th. it took 4 days before they ask for my info and then no one call me, instead the shipping company send me an email stating that i 've better call dhl. which i did. i've corrected all my personal infos on their database and fill out the poa they ask me to do the same day. i still don't know why since no one ever call me to clarify the custom agent demand. i received a letter from dhl by regular mail on december 24th. a letter by regular mail to ask me to contact them" what an express service it is. i then call again to see what was happening and ask to speak to someone in authority. i was force to complain to get someone on the line. the lady send me 2 more form to fill which i did and then nothing happened to my package. i call again 3 days later and lady told me that a email was sent on the 23rd that i have not respond...no mail ever left their computer a fact that was confirmed later on. they charge me 70$ for duty and 20$ more for their fees which i was forced to pay if i want my package. we are now january 3rd 2015 and still no package. no one took the phone to call me they always rely on mail which they take 2-3 to respond...that is express behavior indeed! you are force to do all the call and no one care. they got your money and too bad for your package i'm still waiting for my package, nothing i can do. it's been 22days for an express delivery and 90 usd for this kind of service. i call back and demand a complete refund which they only reimburse 20$ fees and refused to take any responsibility. i,m still waiting for the refund to comes...may be in 10-15 years if you need a package delivered rapidly...or just delivered you better ask a brainless slug to delivered it, it will be by far better and faster then dhlexpress for god sake.

expecting an important package, took the day off to wait at home and called dhl twice to confirm date/address (they also asked for delivery address when called in, everything checks). then no one showed but told me on the website "recipient moved", naturally contacted dhl again, told me address it incorrect. 1. i know the sender entered the correct address, otherwise when i called to confirm they would tell me (you think), also verified with sender 2. i lived in the same address for past 8 years, canada post, fedex, ups, and dhl (months ago) all found me, so i don't know what is the problem this time i suspect it is due to the snow storm that the driver simply do not wish to make the attempt, but if they told me the truth i would understand. now they are telling me since my address is "incorrect", i need to wait 1-2 business days for it be delivered again, i hope they don't send the package back

i purchase goods from several vendors out of europe.we have found all international couriers frustrating to deal with, but dhl by far is the worst. most of our shipments are pallets or heavy freight. dhl lost a 450 lb pallet of engine parts and claimed the vendor was lied about the pickup and forged the documents. it was found a month later in a dhl warehouse in italy. although my goods are all duty free, they constantly try to charge duty on duty free items, then expect us to submit a counter claim. they withhold shipments until taxes and fees are paid, release the shipment, then try to collect again at delivery claiming you have to prove you have paid before you can pick the shipment up. invoices are constantly missing from the cartons and when you pay your taxes / duty / brokerage / fees online (as required) you are not provided a line item invoice but a receipt for the total amount. what government audit would approve that? when i complained i needed a proper invoice, i was told it would be on the shipment, when it isn't there, i am supposed to request one through my dhl representative if i can get through the voice mail system. this is a company run into the ground by lack of training, lack of interest and no motivation to meet the needs of customers. the website states in their mission statement that the aim of dhl is to simplify the customers experience.well if losing shipments, requiring us to fight for proper invoices, file claims to get our money back for duty charged on duty free items and spending about an hour or two of our own time on every shipment screwed up by dhl, i think they missed the mark.

i have been waiting for an "express" service of my package over a week now.yesterday, it was "attempted delivery" but no note or message was left. so i stayed home all day today just to be home to receive the package. at 7pm, the tracking information was updated with "attempted delivery: recipient not home". this is complete utter flat out lie. i called the customer service and they said they can't do anything. it will be delivered on monday. so what i am supposed to skip work and wait for the package??? i paid $150 for this service and all i get is frustration.do not use dhl ever again.

i sent my shipment from canada to france more than a week in advance - paid for priority shipment.it arrives friday, no duties or taxes are supposed to be due on it, they submitted the wrong invoice...

i sent my shipment from canada to france more than a week in advance - paid for priority shipment.it arrives friday, no duties or taxes are supposed to be due on it, they submitted the wrong invoice and it took 5 days for them to tell me that i would have to pay the duties and taxes on it that costs more than $1000 to release my package .. and they are sorry there is nothing they can do. ***. refund my money for your error. my package is 2 days late for a tradeshow i paid to be in, so now i'm losing money on all fronts. it would have been cheaper for me to fly to paris and deliver it myself.ridiculous.
